For The Self, For Others...\m/...

How can we do what is best when we could not even look at our own image?

He frequently arrives 30 minutes late to the office in the morning and after lunch hours. Thus, he was interrogated by his manager for his outrageous behaviour.

He replied “My dear sir, discipline is a work to train oneself to be better but not a doctrine for us to obey blindly if it could affect all of our well-being. one must understand we have only 24 hours to live, we have 8 working hours, 1 lunch hour and other time allowances before we could have a time for our own. If our lives out of work is not well maintained, how can one be optimistic and confident in their working life. I wake at 6am every morning from my good rest to perform daily workouts for two hours to keep myself fit, healthy and strong, a mental and physical preparation for the day. I do not speed my car to work as that increases the risk of road accidents for I rather be late than never. I go out for lunch to keep my mind at peace from office hectic tasks. I slowly chew on my food to maintain a healthy digestion. If I do not keep myself in good state, how am I going to be of good for your company? How am I going to be productive and how am I going to give out my best for all?

Moral of the story: Learn to love and care for yourself before you are to love and care for others.
